Project SOWs, cost negotiations, third-party legal & safety, and more can take months to sign-off before projects can kick-off. Even as a repeat customer, there's often a weeks-long waiting game for required resources to free up.

If you want to get to market fast, we can get you there seamlessly. But if pre-existing deadlines demand rushed services, you may want to consider hiring full-time resources that can be fully dedicated to you only, such as a freelancer, contractor or agency.

Once subscribed to a membership plan, you're able to add as many design requests to your design board queue as you'd like. So what then is the catch, you ask? Turnaround time. They will be delivered one by one.

On average, most requests are completed in just three days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer. Rome wasn't designed in a day, and neither can a package be. Even just a digital one. When a single request is really multiple sub-tasks, we will correct your design board to reflect this.

Thankfully, where there's process there's patterns. And where there's patterns there's predictions. From which, reasonable expectations can be made. And in the name of transparency, these reasonable expectations are communicated on our process page.

You might be surprised to hear this, but pkgd.design is actually an agency of one. This means you'll work directly with me, founder of pkgd.design. However, some power-up requests such as animations must be outsourced to entrusted partner designers due to the highly time-dependent nature of our process.

We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up an entire month. Perhaps you only have one or two packaging design requests at the moment. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.

Billing cycles are based on a 31 day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.

All 3D CAD modeling requests are built in Solidworks, the premiere industry standard for product manufacturing. We use its mass, volume, density, and other mathematical properties not found in lesser CAD programs to ensure your package and product headspace is right-sized and, when requested, properly designed for manufacturing.

All rendering requests are done in Keyshot. The leader in scientifically accurate, photorealistic 3D product visual rendering software.

We offer a ton of flexibility in how you request designs through your design board. Some common ways clients request designs is directly via Trello, sharing Google docs, 3D files or CAD drawings, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional design needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.
